Locality:Kamsdorf, Saalfeld, Thuringia, Germany
Description:Sooty black pyrolusite pseudomorphs after stubby prismatic manganite crystals to1.5 mm with minor black psilomelane. Around the edges, the cores of the pseudomorphs are exposed showing they are solid fine-grained pyrolusite.
