Description: | Internally flawless golden-yellow single crystal of calcite with no matrix attached. The calcite crystal is a hexagonal prism in the lower half, with scalenohedral termination topped with small striated rhombohedral faces. Has a small cleaved corner. Ex. Mort Metersky collection #Ca-747, director of International Calcite Collectors Association; collected by Peter Lyckberg in 1988. |
