Locality:Eastern Rock Products Quarry (Benchmark Quarry), St. Johnsville, Montgomery County, New York
Description:Lustrous transparent Herkimer Diamond, the doubly-terminated variety of quartz found in the vicinity of Herkimer, with translucent pale-gray dolomite crystals to 3 mm and yellow-metallic pyrite crystals to 0.2 mm. There are very small chips on the tip.
