Description:Lustrous black gaudefroyite crystals on dark manganese-oxide ore. The gaudefroyite crystals are hexagonal prismatic form with pyramidal terminations. The prism faces are smooth and lustrous; the terminations have complex crystallization patterns. Ex. Mort Metersky collection
