Description: | Translucent pink scalenohedral manganese-rich calcite crystals with surfaces composed of many smaller parallel crystal faces giving them satin-like luster. These are commonly labeled as Manganocalcite or Manganoan Calcite, but the species is Calcite. Ex. Mort Metersky collection |
