Description: | Lustrous transparent dark smoky quartz crystals to 18 mm intermixed with blocky white microcline crystals to 25 mm with pale-green albite crystals to 1 mm. The smoky quartz crystals are twinned following the Dauphine Law of quartz twinning. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1960s-70s. |
