Locality:railroad cut near Thomaston Dam, Litchfield County, Connecticut
Description:Lustrous yellow-metallic pyrite crystals to 1.7 mm with translucent brown bladed stilbite crystals to 10 mm in fan-shaped aggregates on gray-brown matrix. The pyrite crystals are cubic form with octahedral corner faces. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1970s by a construction worker at the site
