Description: | Lustrous transparent pink-purple cobalt-rich calcite crystals on gray matrix. The pink color of the calcite crystals is caused by the cobalt impurities. These are commonly sold as Cobaltoan Calcite or Cobaltocalcite. Ex. Mort Metersky collection; ex Joseph J. Lhoest collection |
