Locality: | Sierra de Cruces, east of Laguna de Jaco, near Hercules, Coahuila, Mexico |
Description: | Lustrous translucent raspberry-pink dodecahedral grossular garnet crystals to 6 mm in gray wollastonite-quartz-calcite matrix with a brown 3 mm vesuvianite crystal. The grossular garnet crystals have good pink color and unusually lustrous surfaces. Ex. Mort Metersky collection, collected ca. 1999 |
