Description: | Sparkling cluster of transparent green smithsonite crystals to 0.8 mm over colorless calcite. The smithsonite crystals have a rich green color associated with copper impurities and are sometimes labeled as cuprian smithsonite. Ex. Lucile Squier (1905-2007) collection #914 |
