Locality:City Creek Canyon, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah
Description:Several translucent gray-brown equant sanidine crystals in gray porphyry. The sanidine crystals are phenocrysts, crystals that cooled early in solution then were surrounded with later finely crystallized rock. One sanidine crystal was restored with glue. Ex. Irving Horowitz collection #699
