Description: | Triangular cavity that formed in the spaces between pillow basalts lined with lustrous translucent dark smoky quartz crystals. The outer surfaces of the quartz pocket are porous where they formed over a mineral that later dissolved. Ex. Irving Horowitz collection #2952 |
