Locality:Upper Montclair, Essex County, New Jersey
Description:Large cluster of lustrous transparent smoky quartz crystals to 10 mm with partial overgrowth of translucent white scalenohedral calcite crystals to 15 mm. This quarry was not as extensively collected as the other NJ trap rock quarries nearby. Now closed. Ex. Irving Horowitz collection #2597
