Description: | Classic specimen of a vein formation of platy dark-green clinochlore crystals with areas of orange-brown chondrodite. This mine, famous for unusual mineralization and pseudomorphs, had a tragic cave-in in 1895 that led to the mine closing in 1897. Ex. Irving Horowitz collection #15, collected in August 1938 |
