Locality:Barbour Mine, Colton Hill, Stowe, Oxford County, Maine
Description:Doubly-terminated cluster of parallel purple amethyst quartz crystals fully crystallized on all faces. The amethyst crystals have microscopic white subsurface inclusions that may be albite. This is one of the better specimens seen from this find. Ex. Irving Horowitz collection #2456; collected in 1994 by T. Klinepeter
