Mineral:Fluorite (twinned crystals) with minor Calcite
Locality:Skears Mine, High Stope, Firestone Level, Teesdale, County Durham, England
Description:Lustrous translucent gray cubic fluorite crystals to 8 mm with minor tan-colored calcite microcrystals in areas (could be removed by dissolving in HCL). The fluorite crystals are interpenetrant-twinned and have thin transparent outer zones.
Overall Size:10x7x3.5 cm
