Locality: | Rensselaer Quarry, Pleasant Ridge, 6 km east of Rensselaer, Jasper County, Indiana |
Description: | Elongated cluster of lustrous yellow-metallic crystals to 5 mm with translucent brown elongated calcite crystals to 12 mm on the rear end. The surfaces of the pyrite show triangular faces indicating they are octahedral form that all grew together. Collected in the 1980s. |
