Mineral:Dioptase on Calcite with Malachite
Locality:Tsumeb Mine, Otavi-Bergland District, Oshikoto, Namibia
Description:Lustrous transparent emerald-green dioptase crystals to 10 mm on sparkling translucent white rhombohedral calcite crystals to 3 mm with hemispherical groups of fibrous green malachite along the edge. The largest dioptase crystal stands upright.
