Description: | Lustrous yellow-metallic rutile crystals to 25 mm that grew in epitactic orientation from a central gray-metallic hematite crystal on transparent smoky quartz. The rutile is in three groups at 60° because of the epitaxial relationship to the hematite. Collected ca. 1985 |
