Locality:Tsumeb Mine, Otavi-Bergland District, Oshikoto, Namibia
Description:Plate of lustrous transparent colorless tarnowitzite crystals, the lead-rich variety of the mineral aragonite, on brown matrix. The tarnowitzite crystals are hexagonal form with pyramidal terminations, and fluoresce white under SW UV.
