Locality: | La Fluorita Dulcita, near Tombstone, Cochise County, Arizona |
Description: | Translucent pale-purple octahedral fluorite crystals to 3 mm on white quartz pseudomorphs after scalenohedral calcite crystals to 40 mm. The calcite formed first, was overgrown with white quartz, the calcite dissolved, then the fluorite formed. Collected by Jack Crawford |
