Locality:Magnet Cove, Hot Spring County, Arkansas
Description:Gray quartz crystals to 14 mm with many black-metallic brookite crystals to 9 mm. The gray color of the quartz is caused by impurities in the outer layers, the cores are smoky. Brookite crystals are visible everywhere when viewed under magnification. Ex. Morse collection
