Description: | Sparkling cluster of yellow-metallic pyrite pseudomorphs after bladed pyrrhotite crystals to 15 mm. The pyrrhotite crystallized first, then altered molecule by molecule to pyrite, maintaining the original bladed form of the pyrrhotite. Ex. Lucile Squier (1905-2007) collection #1173 |
