Description: | Transparent red acicular cuprite crystals in a patch on the end of green matrix. This acicular form of cuprite was once known as chalcotrichite that was identified in 1892 as the mineral cuprite. The specimen is mounted in a Perky box for protection. Ex. Mort Metersky collection |
