Description: | Tapered rectangular quartz molds after anhydrite crystals to 40 mm overgrown with colorless transparent rhombohedral calcite crystals to 9 mm. The anhydrite crystallized first, was overgrown with quartz, then the anhydrite dissolved. Ex. St. Lawrence University Collection; ex. Howard E. Moore (1926-2011); originally acquired ca. 1939-40 |
