Description: | Sparkling colorless quartz pseudomorphs after anhydrite crystals to 30 mm with bronze-black chamosite microcrystals in areas. The anhydrite crystallized first, then was overgrown by quartz, finally the anhydrite dissolved away leaving hollow forms. Ex. St. Lawrence University Collection; ex. Howard E. Moore (1926-2011); originally acquired ca. 1939 |
