Locality:Prospect Park Quarry, Prospect Park, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Translucent green prehnite pseudomorphs after anhydrite crystals to 35 mm fully crystallized all around with no attachment point. The anhydrite crystallized first, then was overgrown by prehnite, resulting in finger-shaped formations. Ex. St. Lawrence University Collection; ex. Howard E. Moore (1926-2011); originally acquired ca. 1940
