Locality: | Long Hill Mine, Trumbull, Fairfield County, Connecticut |
Description: | Dark gray-metallic ferberite (ferberite?) pseudomorphs after scheelite crystals to 12 mm. It appears there were several original scheelite crystals that altered to ferberite, but the form is indistinct. Remnants of scheelite fluoresce white under SW UV Collected in 1991 by Richard Schooner (1925-2007) |
