Locality:Pelton Quarry, Portland, Middlesex County, Connecticut
Description:Dark translucent brown almandine garnet crystals in light-colored albite. The almandine crystals are trapezohedral form with striated crystal faces. The small almandine crystals exhibit better translucency that the large central crystal. Ex. Richard Schooner (1925-2007)
