Description: | Large translucent yellow-gray rhombohedral calcite crystals with whitish coating on the bottom where they were attached. The calcite crystals have waxy luster and are interpenetrant twinned similar to the calcite crystals from Rudnyy, Kazakhstan. Ex. St. Lawrence University Collection; ex. Howard E. Moore (1926-2011); originally acquired April 1960 |
