Description: | Lustrous bi-colored elbaite tourmaline crystal with minor white albite on the surfaces in small areas. The elbaite crystal is mostly bright pink, with a 5 mm green zone at the termination. One corner was repaired where a fragment came loose. Weight: 9.4 grams. Gift of Dale Sweatt, one of the original partners in the famous 1972-3 tourmaline discovery |
