Description: | Large dodecahedral almandine garnet crystal in greenish biotite schist. The almandine crystal is elongated in one axis resulting in an unusual distorted shape. The rear face is incomplete. Ex. Irving Horowitz collection #2469; originally acquired ca. 1942 |
