Description: | Three brown distorted pyrite crystals to 40 mm in gray matrix. The pyrite are elongated crystals of distorted pyritohedrons. The brown color is caused by partial alteration to goethite that would produce pseudomorphs if the process continued. Ex. Irving Horowitz collection #49; acquired from Ken Walling in 1987 |
