Description: | Fragile white meyerhofferite pseudomorphs after inyoite crystals to 14 mm. The inyoite crystallized first, then altered molecule by molecule to meyerhofferite, resulting in the shape of inyoite of the composition of meyerhofferite. Ex. Irving Horowitz collection #767; originally acquired from Ron Bentley (1948-1995) in 1977 |
