Description: | Bladed translucent gray celestine-barite crystals with subsurface inclusions and surface coating on the front faces that give the crystals a brown color. Though originally labeled as barite, the specific gravity is closer to celestine (celestite). Ex. D. Miller collection #M1561; collected ca. 1950 |
