Description: | Lustrous transparent colorless quartz crystal with gray phantom-growth zone visible inside the crystal. These phantom zones are composed of microscopic fragments of shale that coated early generations of the quartz crystal as it formed. Ex. D. Miller collection #M2461, collected in 1986 |
