Mineral:Wulfenite on Quartz with mold after Galena
Locality:Manhan Lead Mines, Loudville District, 3 km northwest of Easthampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts
Description:Many translucent orange wulfenite crystals to 1.5 mm on colorless quartz with a rectangular cavity where a galena crystal was embedded in the quartz, then later dissolved liberating the lead necessary to form the wulfenite. Ex. D. Miller collection #M2479, collected in 1970
