Mineral:Quartz var. Smoky Quartz with Dolomite
Locality:Cavnic Mine (Kapnikbanya), Maramures, Romania
Description:Many lustrous transparent light-smoky quartz crystals to 25 mm with partial overgrowth of lustrous white rhombohedral dolomite crystals to 1 mm. The smoky color of the quartz crystals is probably caused by irradiation, typical of this locality.
