Description: | Sharp white quartz pseudomorphs after a cluster of radiating prismatic anhydrite crystals to 50 mm long. The anhydrite crystallized first, quartz filled in between, then the anhydrite dissolved leaving long cavities with rhombic cross-sections. Ex. St. Lawrence University Collection; ex. Howard E. Moore (1926-2011); originally acquired ca. 1940 |
