Locality: | Thomaston Dam Railroad Cut, Thomaston, Litchfield County, Connecticut |
Description: | Transparent fluorite with small cluster of 1 mm pyrite crystals. The fluorite is color zoned internally from blue-gray to purple in the center (fluorescence is zoned too). The surfaces are composed of small parallel cubic faces. Collected by Robert Sahno in 1981 |
