Description: | Translucent smoky quartz crystal with satin-like luster from an obscure locality near the famous Moose Pocket. The outer 0.5 mm thick layer of the smoky quartz crystal is a milky colorless zone over the core of dark smoky color. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 70s. Found in the float below the famous Moose Pocket discovered by Peter Samuelson in 1988 |
