Mineral:Schorl Tourmaline with Hyalite Opal
Locality:Erongo Mountains, 20 km north of Usakos, Damaraland, Namibia
Description:Large lustrous black schorl tourmaline crystal with complex crystallization patterns on the termination faces. One area on the side of the schorl crystal has a thin crust of colorless hyalite opal that fluoresces bright green under SW UV illumination.
