Description: | Two lustrous gray-metallic pyrite crystals in contrasting white clay-rich matrix. The gray color is caused by a thin coating of chalcocite. The pyrite crystals are cubo-octahedral form, one exhibiting a post-crystallization fracture. Collected in 2015. Analysis of coating performed from Ben Grguric at South Australian Museum |
