Locality:Auchenlosh Quarry, Dalbeattie, Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland
Description:Lustrous translucent smoky quartz crystals to 11 mm with lustrous red-brown hematite microcrystals included in subsurface layers of the quartz giving them a brown appearance, with black hematite crystals in spherical aggregates to 0.6 mm Collected by John Lawson (1942-2024) and Robert Lawson in 1991
