Description: | Lustrous translucent smoky quartz crystals to 10 mm with surface coating of brown goethite and scattered red-brown hematite microcrystals included in subsurface layers of the quartz. The goethite coating is probably due to alteration of the hematite. Collected by John Lawson (1942-2024) and Robert Lawson in 1991 |
