Locality:Goboboseb Mountains, 43 km west of Brandberg Mountain, Erongo region, Namibia
Description:Lustrous scepter-shaped formation of a 32 mm transparent smoky quartz crystal overgrown on a narrower 14 mm transparent purple amethyst quartz crystal. Microscopic red hematite inclusions are visible in the amethyst when viewed under magnification. Ex. Georg Gebhard (author of Tsumeb I and II)
