Description: | Highly transparent vivid-green dioptase crystals to 11 mm on translucent white calcite crystals to 3 mm. The dioptase crystals are stout prisms with lustrous crystal faces. The calcite fluoresces orange under SW UV illumination. Ex. Georg Gebhard (author of Tsumeb I and II) |
