Description: | Grainy gray-metallic bixbyite pseudomorphs after trapezohedral garnet crystals to 6 mm with platy black-metallic hematite crystals to 2 mm in crevices. It is uncertain which species of garnet the pseudomorphs originated, probably spessartine. Collected ca. 1980 |
