Description: | Lustrous transparent-to-translucent pink morganite crystal, the pink gem variety of the mineral species beryl, protruding from quartz-albite pegmatite with a second partial crystal. The morganite crystal is hexagonal form with basal pinacoid termination. Ex. Irving Horowitz collection #601, collected ca. 1950 |
