Description: | Lustrous dark red-black neptunite crystals in contrasting white natrolite on gray serpentine. The neptunite crystals appear black, but they exhibit red translucency when illuminated from the rear. Has yellow microcrystals of an unidentified mineral. Ex. Irving Horowitz collection #1931 |
